Below you’ll find 12 frequently asked questions we’ve received over the years. We hope theses questions, and especially the answers, will help you in planning your wedding & choosing your wedding entertainment.
Sparkx Entertainment has been DJing since 2012. For the last four years we’ve consecutively doubled our our wedding count! We’ve DJed & filmed over 50 different weddings & events.
We try not schedule more than one event or wedding per day. There have been times where we have an event in the morning and an event in the afternoon. We NEVER overlap over a wedding, we always keep plenty of time in between.
Our two DJs, Levi & Justin, have been entertaining in different ways for the last 10 years. We know what song to play and exactly when to play it. We keep the party going and people dancing. We’ve haven’t had a bad night yet. Our 5 star reviews on Facebook and WeddingWire reflect that.
Yes! There will always be someone playing music behind the table and another Sparkx Entertainment employee there as your emcee. Typically the emcee will also help keep the night organized as a direct line of communication between you, the DJ, and venue.
Absolutely. We actually require a “do not play” song list as a part of your contract. Some people love the cha-cha slide, others hate it. We want to play EXACTLY what you want to hear.
Most of the time, yes. The only time we won’t play request from guests is if they’re just ridiculous or if the request conflicts with your “do not play” list.
We’ll only take one or two breaks during the our time at your wedding. No longer than 5 minutes at a time. We guarantee, a DJ will always be behind the DJ table.
100%…we would never rely on you or a venue to provide anything we may need.
Sparkx Entertainment team members will dress professionally…be on the look out, they LOVE bow-ties.
The deposit varies depending on what DJ package you pick. Our basic package is a 50% deposit and our advanced package is a 25% deposit.
We usually require the final balance a month before your wedding date. The less we have to worry about weeks before the wedding, the better.
If you cancel after signing your contract the deposit is non-refundable. If we cancel (we’ve never canceled) we’ll be sure to do so in a timely manor and return your deposit to you.
